eclipse-cdt-launch-remote software package provides Remote launch and debug support for Eclipse CDT, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-cdt-launch-remote
eclipse-cdt-launch-remote is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-cdt-launch-remote package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-cdt-launch-remote *
You will get with eclipse-cdt-launch-remote package name, version, architecture and description in a table
